Located in the river district of Niles, Michigan, the 15,000 square foot office building was built in the mid 1920’s by Kawneer, a company which made window fixtures and store fronts. It was purchased by the City of Niles in 1984 when Kawneer relocated to Atlanta. Since then, the century-old building has served as an incubator for small-business startups in the 1980s and 1990s before it was purchased by Olympia Home Care, Inc., a regional home health care organization, in December 2007.

Today, Olympia Business and Conference Center, located conveniently near the border of Indiana is managemed by Olympia Management, LLC. Olympia Management, LLC handles the day to day operation of the building, including security, indoor and outdoor maintenance, housekeeping, and provides on-site technical support to tenants. Visitors and tenants of the building will be pleased to know that the building now offers Wi-Fi (complete with printers*) throughout the building and in conference rooms.

Remodeling efforts are underway and will be completed in the following three phases:

• Phase one: includes repaving the parking lot; replacing the building’s roof; and cleaning the exterior building including landscaping and new signage.
  
• Phase two: includes remodeling on the first and third floors of the building including the new 756sq foot multi-media conference facility.
  
• Phase three: includes minor updating of the second floor and adding signage throughout the interior building.
